Goutam Datta joined Bajaj Life Insurance in November 2018 as the Chief Information & Digital Officer. He brings over two decades of experience in the field of Technology where he has successfully spearheaded the development of enterprise digital roadmaps, while managing large-scale technology operations and implementing innovative technology projects. In his all-encompassing journey, Goutam has witnessed the technology evolution from traditional business processes to customer-centric processes through digital implementations.

A proven strategic leader, Goutam is passionate about creating tangible business value through technological solutions and innovation to drive and deliver business results. He is an astute believer of the ‘one team’ model and is

well regarded amongst peers for his collaborative approach to problem- solving.

Before Bajaj Life, Goutam led the Technology & Digital Innovation team at ICICI Lombard General Insurance Company. Goutam has also worked with Essel Group of Companies and Tata Infotech Ltd in the past.

Goutam is an alumnus of IIM Calcutta. He enjoys playing badminton and reading history and management books.
