Anil is a qualified lawyer with over 29 years of legal experience, the majority of which has been as in-house counsel with companies in the insurance sector.

In his current role, Anil is responsible for providing strategic advice and opinions on legal compliance, and business issues. He focuses on ensuring Company’s conformity with the applicable laws, managing regulatory audits and inspections, and preventing and mitigating fraud. Anil plays a critical role in representing the organization during the development of growth-centric regulations in the sector. He has been a part of various IRDAI and Life Council Committees in his current role.

Anil has also worked with other leading life insurers, including PNB MetLife India and Aviva Life Insurance. Apart from life insurance, he has worked with Quark Media House and BEA Systems Pvt. Ltd. Before transitioning to corporate roles, Anil practiced law before the Madras High Court and had brief stints with a law firm and a telecom company in the USA.

Anil completed his Bachelors in Law from Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, Chennai, and his Master of laws from the University of Minnesota, Minneapolis, USA. He is married to Devi and has two children, Tara and Akshay. He is an avid off-road enthusiast and loves traveling.
