Amit Joshi joined Bajaj General Insurance Limited (formerly known as Bajaj Allianz General Insurance Company Limited) as Chief Investment Officer in 2016. He is responsible for managing the investment portfolio as per the risk and return objectives set by the board and the investment committee of the company. Before joining Bajaj General, his previous assignment was as Chief Investment Officer at Aviva Life Insurance Company.

Amit has a total experience of more than 25 years in the investment industry, spread across investment banks, life insurance, and general insurance companies. He holds a Bachelor's degree in commerce from Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and Master's degree in Business Economics from the University of Delhi. Amit also holds a CFA charter from the CFA Institute USA. Besides work, Amit is very active in endurance sports like long-distance running and cycling, and regularly participates in marathons and ultra-cycling events.
