Deepak Matai has over 25 years of leadership experience across financial services, consumer businesses and regulated environments. 

In his current role Deepak provides strategic leadership to Bajaj Finserv Health, driving the company’s next phase of growth by strengthening its digital health ecosystem, expanding partner integrations and deepening customer value propositions across healthcare, wellness and allied services. He works closely with the leadership team to balance innovation with execution excellence, while ensuring strong compliance and customer trust.

Deepak has extensive experience in launching products, building distribution alliances and leading businesses through scale and transformation. Most recently, he served as CEO of the CPP Group’s India business, where he led large-scale businesses spanning partnerships, distribution-led models, and customer-centric propositions, with a strong focus on sustainable growth and governance. Deepak has also held senior leadership roles in Barclays and SBI Cards and has been part of founding teams that built and scaled financial services businesses in India. 

Deepak holds a postgraduate degree in Rural Management and Accounting from the Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management and has completed an advanced leadership program from IIM Calcutta.
