Jennifer Mathew Fernandes is the Chief Human Resources Officer at Bajaj Finance Limited and a key member of the executive leadership team. With over 24 years of experience, she drives HR strategy to align talent management with business growth and governance priorities.

Since May 2023, Jennifer has led HR Partnering, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, HR Tech PMO, People Analytics, and Employee Services. She scaled the workforce from 37,000 to ~65,000 employees, launched a job rotation framework, set up 10 Regional Training Centers, and maintained industry-leading attrition levels.

Previously, she served as CHRO at Bajaj Housing Finance (2021–2023), designing productivity-linked incentives and employee-led growth policies. Her earlier roles at Bajaj Finance included leading Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, and HR Centers of Excellence.

Before Bajaj Finance, Jennifer spent nine years with L&T Financial Services, where she set up HR functions for new entities, and managed Compensation & Benefits for the group.

Jennifer holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Personnel Management from Xavier Institute of Social Service, Ranchi, and began her career in 2001 with early roles at Team 4U HR Services, KGK Group, and Concast Standard Engineering.
