Vaibhav Date is the Chief Human Resources Officer & Chief of Staff Head of Human Resources at Bajaj Finserv Asset Management. In this role, he is instrumental in setting up the leadership team and empowering them with able people force while defining the core fabric of the organization.

Prior to this, as head of Talent Management at Bajaj Finserv Group, Vaibhav was instrumental in defining the enterprise-wide Talent Strategy, defining the leadership DNA at Bajaj Finserv and bringing in a talent culture. In this stint, he led significant strategic talent projects which led to talent mobility across businesses and an influx of young talent to sustain long term growth.

Transitioned from a business role to HR, during the initial decade of his career, Vaibhav ably managed P&L of the consulting business of Thomas International, India, where he acquired a multi-sector consulting experience spanning across India, Japan, China and Middle East.

Vaibhav is a postgraduate in business management from Pune University and an alumnus of IIM Calcutta. Beyond work, Vaibhav is a fitness enthusiast. He is also passionate about exploring the Indian history and mythology and that of overseas and loves travelling to learn the same and draw his inspiration from.
